2 Teens Sparked 4 Fires In Western, Central Mass Using Explosives: Arson Investigators

Arson investigators busted two teenagers who they say are responsible for setting multiple fires in Hampden and Worcester counties using explosives.

Nathan Asselin, 19, of Sturbridge, and Camron Lamarche, 19, of Southbridge, are charged with four counts of possession of a destructive device, placing an explosive device, vandalism, and other offenses, the State Fire Marshal said. 

Investigators said the duo placed explosive materials in mailboxes and outdoor sites on Town Farm Road in Brookfield, Sturbridge Road in Holland, Boston Road E in Monson, and New Boston Road in Sturbridge. 

All of the incidents happened in December. 

They will be arraigned in a Dudley court at a later date.
